The beach owes its name, "Argento" (Silver), to the large sandy beach of very fine sand, with a particular silver white colour, touched by the clear Adriatic Sea.

The promenade in Alba Adriatica offers a 3 km long cycle path winding through tall palm trees, fragrant oleanders and pine forests.
